Marketing Communications Coordinator

About the Job

Leading With Nice, a Toronto-based marketing and communications company is hiring a remote, full-time Marketing and Communications Coordinator. In this position you’ll work directly with clients and your Leading With Nice colleagues developing and executing marketing and communications deliverables.

You’ll be responsible for developing marketing and communications calendars for several clients and then producing content such as social media posts, social advertising copy and art, email newsletters and marketing emails, blog and other website content.

In regular meetings with clients you’ll discuss their marketing and communications goals and then help them understand different pathways available to achieve those goals.

About You

You’re comfortable writing marketing emails, social posts and website content. You’re equally as excited to login to the backend of WordPress and make content updates and maybe even tweak the design a little (and if you don’t know how to yet, you are excited to learn because the prospect of this does not make you nervous).

You aren’t intimidated by the prospect of being asked to do something you haven’t done before because you’re confident in your ability to either learn how to do it by finding examples and learning from them or engaging an expert to either come alongside you for a time or to teach you what to do.

Meeting new people isn’t a big deal for you and you’re comfortable having lots of things on the go because it keeps it interesting. You’re familiar with StoryBrand by David Miller and if you aren’t familiar after doing some cursory research online you’re excited to dive in.

"They helped us see clearly."

Our organization was going through a transition and was really lacking focus and direction.

The Leading with Nice team really helped bring clarity to what we needed with respect to communications and administrative support, in particular, and solved so much frustration for our team.

"Our team and organization both won."

Mathieu brings what every seasoned communications professional needs – a fresh perspective. His ability understand your message, and the right amount of “salt” to get you better results and more engagement with your audiences is powerful.

Working with Mathieu is also an enjoyable experience, especially when your whole team gets involved in one of his workshops. You not only come away with honed skills but also a more collaborative team.

My experience with Leading with Nice has ranged from traditional print communications to online writing. From the planning process to execution, I have come away with a better product after all my interactions.
