Good day. And welcome to the leading with nice daily, my name is Mathieu Yuill And this week we’re looking at do you really know what your employees want? Yesterday we spoke about the benefits of assessments and I want to talk a bit more about why an assessment is such a great tool to have as having your, your place and especially when you use it as part of a team. So when you’re not just looking at individuals, but when you do an assessment with your entire team and then compile that into a team report. So often when you share, others behaviors and motivators, which with each other, a few things happened, first of all, communication is improved. So that person who comes and knocks on your door and says, Hey, can I ask you a quick question? And you say yes. And now you hear about their weekend and about how great they think that little gadget on your desk is.

Oh, and now here’s my question. And then, Oh, they want like, you know, that they have a meeting later on that they might have to go to. But you’re the kind of person that’s just like, please, can you give me the bullet point equivalent of this? However, there’s also people that when they knock on your door and say, Hey, can I ask you a question? When you say yes, and they’re like, what were the numbers for last month? TPS report and you say 25 and they say thanks and leave. You wonder why they’re so cold. So communication really improves because you understand how each other communicates. And one, you can use that information to either not take offense or just understand that people are different. I know it sounds so simple, but if you don’t have that information, it’s hard to know. Another reason really quickly is it actually goes towards reducing workplace conflict. And wouldn’t we all love that? There’s, these are so short. I could go on for an hour about this, but listen, that’s all for today. For more on this topic, visit leadingwithnice.com where we want to help you inspire others, build loyalty and get results. Talk to you again tomorrow.
